The green light is receding now and all you’ve left’s me with the blues

But nobody can understand just what it is I see

They think that you’re a spiteful bitch for pinning stuff on me

Stuff like fucking up a friendship that you claimed was never there

Well I hate to contradict you but that really isn’t fair

‘cause I did my best to please you girl, yeah heaven knows I tried

But was your kindness all pretence to keep me occupied
